@ubique55 Im a Pga pro and I did not see his back foot bring to somebody’s attention. Yes he does have alittle movement on his backswing but he’s just cheating to get his consequence on his back foot. Thats from trying to kill the ball. Most players wouldn’t be able to be excellent enough to play that. But what most people don’e realize is from the top down is brilliant. Fantastic tempo, fantastic balance fantastic extenison threw the ball, huge arc, and his hitting position is perfect. Here is no such thing as a model haven’t we learne

@rugga He doesn’t lift his foot any more than tiger does in fact. This is in fact a excellent amount and in fact pretty untreated looking if you question me. You should see how much i lift my right foot. It’s very nearly completly off the ground at impression. My instructor is trying to get it to about what tiger’s is and it looks something like what this guy has going on. It’s only really lifted after the ball is already gone. He rolls it, but the heal is close to the ground until the ball is hit.

He in fact lifts his left foot half way off the ground, very unatural consequence shift.
If it works for him, it works for him though, not classical in any sense though.

balance is really the key. If you connect a proper posture at address to a proper finishing position all the while staying in balance, you should hi the ball straight according the laws of motion (centrifugal force, momentum)
iferraro says:

you should shift all your consequence on your right foot when in the back swing, on any full shot.

just got back from driving range and this used drill on wall behind my stall. during do, each time in back swing, checked feel to verify that shoulders were square as this drill makes you do and hands could touch wall (feel). wow, 55 out of 60 balls were perfect shots. dropped ball on top of or rolled balls up to flags all over range.

nice drill. your back does not have to be facing the target or 90 degrees. not every one 16 years ancient and can do that. protect your back man.

Sorry man, Your back was “not facing the target” when your hands were up on the wall. If facing the target is 90 degrees, you force have twisted about 70 degrees. Take a excellent look for yourself.

Get lessons from a pro at your local golf club. it will do wonders for your swing. golf is a game that you really need to have lessons for.
