Located in the heart of Northern New Jersey bordering Sussex, Passaic & Morris Counties, Bowling Green lies in a valley below the rugged terrain of Morris County's Mahlon Dickerson Park and is the very definition of an Eastern woodlands landscape.
Bowling Green's front nine features narrow fairways lined with towering Red Pines or magestic Oaks. In the Spring our native Dogwoods create a white blossom under story to the bright spring green of taller trees. Later in the season, fall foliage is our signature feature. In the summer, our trees provide quite a bit of shade, keeping our temperatures several degrees lower than those of the surrounding Metropolitan area. Other classic features include doglegs, water hazards created by the bordering wetlands of the Rockaway River, nicely varying Par 3s, and playable rough.
At Bowling Green, you will find superior playing conditions for attractive rates and friendly assistance by the staff to stay on pace.
At over 6,800 yards from the back tees, Bowling Green will challenge the low-handicapper but offers other teeing options so that men, women, and juniors of any standard can enjoy the course.
